Universal press for insulation displacement connectors on flat cables
CRIMP FLAT N has been designed to crim flat connectors on flat cables from 10 poles with 1 mm pitch to 50 poles with 1.27 mm pitch, also embracing the family of tray connectors or any other type of crimp connector. A front mobile guide allows the precise accomodation of various flat cables previously inserted into connectors. The sliding of this guide up to the supporting column allows, through a start of a pneumatic cylinder with a flat pad at the end, the correct pressing/crimping of the connector on the cable. A timer and the possibility of using a pressure regulator facilitate the correct crimping of different material conditions. CRIMP FLAT N is an electro-pneumatic device and therefore requires electrical voltage and compressed air. The transparent plexiglass protection prevents accidental contact beteen the mobile cylinder and the operator.
